Spring of '69 • Kath Eats

Glad Springtime!

We now have heat climate once more, and we spent final weekend celebrating my mother’s 69th birthday! After all there was heaps and many buttercream concerned.

Sunday Arrival

My dad and mom drove up on Sunday morning as a result of they’d an occasion on Saturday night time. They spent Sunday + Monday with us and left on Tuesday after lunch.

As a result of we don’t at present have a visitor room, they rented an Airbnb on our avenue! In order that they have been our neighbors. It was nice to have the ability to stroll over, and so they insisted on internet hosting us at their place for a cocktail occasion!

We had a contented birthday signal (Glad fortieth haha), Peeps (mother’s fav) and playing cards prepared for her arrival.

Home Go to

We had sandwiches at our place for lunch after which headed proper over to the primary home to see the renovation progress.

Mates, I knew we have been doing a number of work, however I had no thought Thomas was principally ripping off 3/4 of the highest of our home!! This undertaking is a lot greater than I believed it could be. You may see how little of the unique framing and roof is left!

Soccer + Downtown

We headed again to our home for our afternoon soccer recreation. Thomas and I went to play (our group received!) and my dad and mom took the boys to the downtown mall to the toy retailer and ice cream store.

Eastwood Farm Birthday Lunch

For her precise birthday lunch, we took mother to Eastwood Farm + Winery! They’re open 7 days per week for lunch and have an amazing menu. We introduced alongside Thomas’s mother, Eileen, and my good friend Ellen, who my dad and mom love.
